I rented a 20 slot server from Picklehosting in order to test the service so that I could play ARK with friends and make new friends. Within the first 24 hours, the server went for it's first scheduled restart (that I had set up) and then never came back up. There had also been recurring lag intermittently as well as rubberbanding, but I thought "Hey, it's a new server...", so I didn't worry about it at the time. I put in a ticket within the first 20 minutes of the server not starting up. It ended up taking 11 hours before someone even responded to the ticket initially. Then, "Chris H." finally responded and we exchanged a few messages back and forth. After about three hours of receiving extremely slow intermittent communication from "Chris H." (a total of four messages over several hours) and feeling quite frustrated at the wasted time, he finally offered to just reinstall my server. Two "your server has been reinstalled" emails later and 5 hours later, I received an automated email stating that I had a new server IP for my server.
Since I still hadn't received another correspondence from this "Chris H.", I responded to my support ticket once again only to have "Jayden Harrod" respond stating that there has been a recent merger and that moving over accounts was taking some time. There was no explanation as to how or even IF this actually affected my account, since my account was brand new and should have probably not needed to be "moved over" from anything. I suspect that he didn't even read a drop of any of the conversation in the ticket that was provided before he even responded. Now that my server has been offline for 24 hours of the 48 hours I have rented it, I can no longer be patient and I have asked for my money back. Renter beware.

PickleHosting is the best host out there! While you may find their price outrageous, but that is due to 24/7 support and countless other features that they provide unlike other host. I remember the amount times the support responded in minutes concerning an issue caused by recklessness and being able to resolve it in a timely manner. They provide over a hundred modpacks/jars to choose from with 1 click installation. They even help you upload personal modpacks/jars unlike other hosts that just leave you on the curb like an abandoned puppy and say do it yourself. I’ve been a customer with them for a year and a half and will continue to do so. I have owned Minecraft Servers ranging from .5GB to 5GB of ram that ran perfectly for the scenario, Teamspeak servers that are able to host parties filled with dozens of people, and even webhosting. They are in the top 1% for hosting. Sometimes you have to get passed the price in order to understand why they are worth it.

PickleHosting offers one of the best customer service experiences that I have every dealt with. The service they offer is simply the best, they are there 24/7, dont mess you about, have brilliant DDOS protection, and have brilliant support, you email them with a great support ticket system, and they replied back to me within the hour. They offer great coupons which greatly improve the cost efficiency of all their servers they provide. Without a doubt would definitely recommend this hosting company.

They offer something that most hosts do not which is support. They offer a ton of free things like dedicated IP's, one click installers for mods, plugins and so much more! If you ever need help the staff can help guide you or fix problems or whatever else is needed! No other hosting company was nearly as stable or helpful as PickleHosting!

I used many hosting companies in the past and this is still #1 for me. Many thing mcprohosting is better wrong when i had it it took a month to respond to my support ticket so i canceled my server and moved to server miner great company loved them but it was just a hassle to keep my server lag free with the ammount of players we were getting so i moved to pickle brought a 32gig dedicated box and started setting it up for my server
