Spillvert

*It started as a hobby-project back in 2000* “Back in the day” when IRC was the main communication platform for all gamers online. We started out by providing the community with free IRC-bouncers, Half-Life & CStrike servers and other stuff that was high demand at the time. The name Spillvert was then adopted early in 2011 as we started to focus on premium gaming services. The Norwegian word “Spillvert” is roughly translated to “Game Host” in English. In 2014 we went international and re-built our site to be multilingual in order to serve other parts of Europe in addition to Norway. *Supporting the the community* We provide servers to guilds, professional eSport teams, educational institutions, hardcore gamers and casual gamers. Spillvert is the official server provider for Telenorligaen (CS:GO), which is broadcasted on Live Norwegian TV. The official Prebz & Dennis Minecraft server is also sponsored by us. We also sponsor events and tournaments on a regular basis: BITELIT, LoVe LAN and Zargate, to name a few. *Enterprise hardware with redundancy in all ends* Our servers are standardized on Intel Xeon E5 CPUs, Enterprise SSDs and 1Gbit/s connection to the Internet. We use the monitoring tool Zabbix, provided by Sensorfabrikken to monitor all our resources. Fine-tuned scripts will reserve the resources you buy to avoid overbooking.
